I am completely enamored with photographing the lifeguard stands on Miami Beach. These structures come in all shapes, sizes, and colors. What draws me to photograph here is the endless number of compositions that can be created from each one. Although I generally prefer photographing here in the early morning, this photo was taken in the afternoon. I shot this in a manner to give the viewer a but of a minimalistic feel. The bold colors of the stand along with the alternating stripes create a wonderful contrast with e deep blue sky and white puffy clouds. The bicycle leaning against the stand adds interest to the composition in such a unique way.
