**Guarding Tess [DVD] - Comedy Drama** Secret Service meets sassy widow in this delightfully dysfunctional comedy-drama starring Nicolas Cage and Shirley MacLaine. When straight-la ced agent Doug Chesnic gets stuck protecting former First Lady Tess Carlisle, he discovers that dodging assassins is nothing compared to handling a strong-willed woman who treats the Secret Service like her personal staff. This fish-out-of-water tale explores themes of duty, dignity, and finding humanity in the most unlikely partnerships. MacLaine delivers her trademark sharp wit while Cage perfectly captures a man slowly losing his professional cool. It's comfort viewing for anyone who enjoys character-driven comedies with heart. Perfect for fans of political comedies, Nicolas Cage enthusiasts, or anyone who appreciates stories about stubborn people learning to respect each other. This preloved DVD from Patina Paperbacks is ready for your collection. **Reviews:** "MacLaine steals every scene - her Tess is demanding but somehow loveable." - Sarah M. "Unexpectedly touching.
