Tasting Notes:Did someone say Tom Ford–era Gucci Jackie?! Oh yeah, I did! Finding a rare and special version of this iconic Gucci bag was at the forefront of my mind when I was curating this menu. And how do we know it's Tom Ford-era? It's the hard-edged, geometric piston-lock - Mr. Ford changed the lock from its original form, and it remained that way from 1999 and 2004.Originally made famous by Jackie Kennedy Onassis in 1961, the Jackie bag is pretty much the definition of timeless elegance. In its first form it featured a very soft and sweet looking rounded piston-lock enclosure. It's crazy because the tiny change that Tom Ford made - hardening up the lock - took away some of the Lady Dior's, well, "lady-ness" - and it left a slightly edgier version. This piece is crafted in a taupe satin, which makes it doubly special - we typically see the Jackie done in either leather or canvas. The uniqueness of the material combined with its "mini" size makes it pretty irresistible. PS - it also fits an iphone 17 pro perfectly!XO ShayDescription: Mini Gucci Jackie, taupe satin body with a light sheen, silver-toned hardware, piston-lock enclosure, taupe satin interior, single flap pocket at interiorL 8.75" (longest), 7.5" (shortest), H 5.75", W 1.25", Handle Drop 5.25"
