The GUIA lamp was born from the desire to create a flexible system that would allow, using a single support, to create a huge variety of formal possibilities exploring the limits of the 3D printing technology itself. Also from the intuition that there was a possibility and a challenge in changing the perception of a cheap material with bold colours such as the PLA filament into a quite elegant and sophisticated element. Therefore, the optimization of the printing filament through different thicknesses makes this lamp unnoticed when it is off, but can suddenly become the center of a space when it is turned on, transforming an apparently opaque and solid material into a surprising emitter of intimate light. The formal combinations range from abstraction to figuration, seeking different strategies that can be adapted to each living space or to the soul of each project. The lamp can be directly connected through the wall, and can also be plugged to any close socket with a textile cable of your choice. For different colours or combinations, please contact us.
