Formally the Arran Ale, the Guid Ale name came into being to celebrate the Isle of Arran being reassigned to our cultural homeland county of North Ayrshire. Ayrshire is of course t he home county of the world famous poet Robert Burns who wrote wistfully of our beautiful Isle! The Guid Ale itself is a classic Bitter style beer; featuring smooth and caramel malty flavours.
