We love these breathtaking views and enjoy purple mocktails as much as anyone, but there is so much more happening beneath the surface at Cloudscape Hill. Join farm owners Casey (biomedical scientist) and Jim (ecopsychologist) for a 30 to 45-minute guided walk that blends a relaxing summer outing with the fascinating agriculture, science, and ecology of our fields. We will take you behind the scenes to learn why lavender thrives here, the "alchemy" of how we harvest and process our essential oils, and a few things most farms probably don't tell you — all while immersed in the sweeping purple beauty and unique, restorative scent that makes lavender so beloved. Along the way, we will share our passion for ecotherapy, exploring the measurable ways that interacting with nature — and the neurochemistry of lavender — can actively shift our nervous systems into a state of rest. Casey, a certified yoga instructor, will also guide us through a few gentle movements right in the fields, grounding the experience in both body and place.
