For centuries it was used as the headquarters for the City of London which during the Middle Ages had its historic and financial centre in this area. But its past dates back even further. This site was where the Roman amphitheatre was, the largest in Britannia seating up to 6,000 spectators. About the artist Virginia Duran is an architect and urban planner from Madrid, Spain. Her profession as an architect and her passion for art remain inextricably entwined. As a result, her primary interest within art is space and its relationship to people.
