This is a knitting pattern. You will receive a PDF file. The Gunflint Trail is a rustic 60-mile road in far NE Minnesota that traverses from near Lake Superior towards Canada and t he Boundary Waters Wilderness through rugged boreal forest. Abundant wildlife, thick forest, rocky cliffs, swamps, rivers, and lakes make this one of my favorite drives in the US. This pattern is a tribute to this area. The pattern is written in 3 sizes: baby, adult m/l, and adult xl/xxl. The adult sizes are written to be more closely fitted to the head than my usual patterns, but suggestions for making them slouchier are included. Uses US 11 - 8.0mm and US 13 - 9.0mm needles.
