Our gym flooring tiles are supplied by Origin Fitness. Their 20mm premium tile is the perfect flooring solution for the following applications: free weight spaces (not high impact drop zones) functional training zones cardio and fixed resistance areas stretch areas studio spaces The premium tiles have a heterogeneous construction, which gives it a unique ability to absorb impact, reduce force and provide a stable and hard-wearing top sheet. This design gives them high levels of noise and vibration absorption as well as a long-lasting top sheet which is easy to clean. The heterogeneous (dual layer) construction of the tiles is a 17mm recycled, rubber base bonded to a 3mm EPDM top sheet. The base layer provides sound, impact and vibration reduction. The top sheet layer provides a dense, smooth and hard-wearing surface. Together they make up an effective and functional free weight gym tile. The tiles have a bevel on the edges which help to neutralize the effect of subfloor imperfections. The underside of the tile has channels which reduce weight and streamlines installation. Installation The tiles are loose laid with tile connectors (that require to be bought separately) which eradicate any movement. Each tile requires 6 x connectors (4 x central and 2 x outer). Show more
