The optional Connector can also be added to convert a pair of parallettes into one 60cm long single bar. Once assembled, the top of the parallettes sit just 8.9cm off the ground. The 3.8cm diameter rail is 30.5cm long and constructed of a sturdy aluminium core with a long lasting polymer covering. The bases have an impressive non-slip grip base that will keep the parallettes in place on carpet, wood, or vinyl. To pack the parallettes, the bases have a hollow centre that houses the rail compactly. Each set comes with a nylon drawstring bag for travel. The larger surface of large slider accommodates placement of two feet, two hands, your bottom or your knees. The large slider is even wide enough to be placed under your back. The straps are big enough to go around cheerleading shoes yet small enough to go around a young athletes bare foot. The Velcro sticks together but also safely pulls apart, giving the athlete instant feedback when working skills where feet are required to stay together. The user can feel and hear the Velcro separate. Sticky toes are colour coded for easy use: red for right; lemon for left. They are also hand washable and a must have for every athlete in your gym.
