Specification Full name H2AJ rabbit polyclonal antibody Alternative names 50 μl/100 μl Reactivity rabbit polyclonal Applications WB, IHC Host Rabbit Clone type rabbit polyclonal Target Background Histones are basic nuclear proteins that are responsible for the nucleosome structure of the chromosomal fiber in eukaryotes. Nucleosomes consist of approximately 146 bp of DNA wrapped around a histone octamer composed of pairs of each of the four core histones (H2A, H2B, H3, and H4). The chromatin fiber is further compacted through the interaction of a linker histone, H1, with the DNA between the nucleosomes to form higher order chromatin structures. This gene is located on chromosome 12 and encodes a replication-independent histone that is a variant H2A histone. The protein is divergent at the C-terminus compared to the consensus H2A histone family member. This gene also encodes an antimicrobial peptide with antibacterial and antifungal activity.[provided by RefSeq, Oct 2015] Swissprot No Q9BTM1 Gene Accession BC003602 WB Predicted band size 14 kDa WB Positive control WB Recommended dilution 500-2000 IHC predicted cell location Predicted cell location: Nucleus IHC positive control Positive control: Human esophagus cancer IHC Recommed dilution Recommended dilution: 150-300 Storage -20°C, pH7.4 PBS, 0.05% NaN3, 40% Glycerol WB PIC Description P112543-WB-1-P IHC PIC Description Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded Human esophagus cancer tissue or H2AJ antigen-treated (Neutralization experiment) using P112543(H2AJ Antibody) at dilution 1/160
