Largest fruit size and best cooking quality. Delicious when eaten "pudding soft". Tree is vigorous, upright, and shapely. Astringent. Hachiyas should be left on the tree to ripen, develop sweetness, and soften. They can also be picked at full color and laid out in a single layer to ripen in a cool room.
