𝟏𝟎𝟎% 𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥, 𝐰𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐟𝐞𝐥𝐭! The charm that these pads have is really hard to write about! The 𝐡𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐰𝐡𝐢𝐝𝐞, 𝐢𝐬 𝐡𝐲𝐩𝐨𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐜 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐲 𝐝𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞. I cut the hide so that the back skirt area is out of one full piece - there's no piecing together or using offcuts. And I make sure the hide runs the same way along both sides. I'm a tactile person and I figure this is a touch that is small, but makes a huge difference to the end product and the feel. Even my old Dad ran his hand along it tonight like I've seen him run his hand along a flash car in his day... feel is everything. To top all that off, 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 (as with all my saddle pads!!) 𝐢𝐬 𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐮𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐞𝐰𝐧 𝐛𝐲 𝐦𝐞, 𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐀𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐫𝐬. The felt is gorgeous as well. It isn't hard and compacted like cement - it is a quality product that feels like you want to use it from the first use. We know our horses take time to break in... but I don't think my pads do! As it is natural hide please expect there to be slight differences between the one here, and the one you receive - the same tones will be there but no two natural hides are the same!
