Bring elegance and movement to shaded areas with Hakonechloa ‘Aureola’, also known as Golden Japanese Forest Grass. This beautiful ornamental grass features cascading blades of gol d and green foliage that create a soft, flowing effect in the landscape. The arching leaves brighten up shady garden spaces and provide stunning texture from spring through fall. Growing 1-2 ft. tall, Hakonechloa Aureola is an excellent choice for woodland gardens, shaded borders, pathways and containers. Its compact, mounding habit makes it a versatile addition to landscapes where other plants may struggle. This low-maintenance perennial prefers partial to full shade and performs best in moist, well-drained soil. The foliage takes on warm golden tones in cooler weather, adding seasonal interest late into the year. Show more
