Halcyon - BOLT SNAP Our bolt snaps are made from the same high quality 316 stainless steel as our double enders. They feature increased corrosion resistance because of the actual c omposition of the materials in this particular stainless steel. 316 stainless steel has approximately 2-3 percent Molybdenum which makes it very resistant to corrosion. Bolt snap springs are a common failure point in this product as many stainless bolt snaps do not have stainless springs! Ours do!! Our bolt snaps come in different sizes for different applications.
