Serial is 100XXX from 1957. Halda typewriters are made in Sweden and not many manufactured of this beautiful typewriter. Although many believe that Ernest Hemingway used Royal typewriters, it is well known that he loved typing on Halda portable that looks a lot like the Royal Quiet Deluxe typewriter. His last book was typed on a Halda typewriter as well. Mechanical condition: Professionally restored to Perfect working order. Smooth and ready to type for long hours. Types in two colours.
