I'll do everything I can to make the process as easy, understandable, and rewarding as possible. Start by reserving your half or whole share on the site. Once you're on the list, I'll be in touch and send you a cut sheet ahead of your harvest date. If you'd like organ meat, tallow, or bones included, just ask. We can add those as a special request on a half or whole share. If you have questions about specific cuts or choices along the way, I'm always available. No question is too small. Deciding how to divide up a whole animal can feel intimidating, and I'm here to help you get it right. What's a cut sheet, and how do I fill one out? A cut sheet is how you tell us exactly how you want your beef cut and packaged. It's what our processor follows. We send every beef share purchaser a cut sheet ahead of their harvest date, and we've put together a guide to help you fill it out: How to Fill Out a Beef Cut Sheet. You don't need to worry about it until harvest gets closer. We'll send it your way when it's time. How does pickup or delivery work? We handle pickup when your beef is ready, and we'll arrange to meet you at our farm, or we can deliver it. Your pickup date will land about 25 to 30 days after the harvest date, and if you're able to pick up the same day we receive it back from the processor, that's best. If you're coming from out of town, it's a good excuse for a drive out to Red Oak. More questions? Reach out any time. I'm happy to walk you through it. Buying a beef share?
