Echoing the intricate folds of carved marble from Classical and Hellenistic sculpture, this jug merges utility with sculptural beauty. Handbuilt from fine white stoneware, its form is richly swathed in fluid, draped textures that merge with the vessel’s surface. The handle offers a quiet tension between form and function. Finished in a luminous milkstone glaze, the piece captures the softness of cloth and the permanence of stone.
