I took this photo a few years ago when we had some quite heavy snowfall in the Derbyshire Dales. The location is a Victorian park in the centre of the town of Matlock, just a coupl e of miles from our home, and I have tried to give the painting the feeling of a wintery afternoon, not long before sunset.
