Karma is a good girl; she plays by the rules, is a member of the Honor Society at school, advocates for justice, attends church, teaches Sunday School, and is her mom’s “perfect” d aughter. On Halloween night, all of Karma’s friends are going to the grandiose costume party at school, but her mom gives strict instructions—Karma and her sister are to attend her church’s Hallelujah Night, which will be a holy, “fun” event for the youth.
