Hammer mill kit demonstrates the principle of mechanical energy to do work - in this case, the power supplied by a turbine or a riverwheel (purchased separately) can be transferred to the wheel of the hammermill kit via a rope, and with the rotation of the wheel, the hammers take turns pounding. Please note: the hammermill kit is an accessory. It requires a separately purchased small waterwheel, riverwheel or turbine to make it go.
