Ashford Hand Carders are portable, lightweight, and used in pairs to prepare fiber or blend fiber colors in the traditional way. These are great for blending colors and preparing small rolags for spinning.Cotton Hand Carders 190 PPSI - Designed specifically for cotton and extra fine luxury fibers such as cashmere and angora - they are lightweight (17.5oz) and easy to use. These carders have a large carding area with a batt size that's 10.5" x 3.5" and very fine 190 PPSI wire teeth with a flexible rubber back for durability.Fine Small Hand Carders 108 PPSI - These are the smallest and most portable/lightweight Hand Carders. These carders have a carding area with a batt size that's 7.25" x 3.25" and fine 108 PPSI wire teeth with a flexible rubber back for durability.Small Hand Carders 72 PPSI - These carders have a carding area with a batt size that's 7.25" x 3.25" and fine 72 PPSI wire teeth with a flexible rubber back for durability.Fine Standard Hand Carders 108 PPSI - These carders have a larger carding area with a batt size that's 8.5" x 5" and fine 108 PPSI wire teeth with a flexible rubber back for durability. Flick Hand Carer 72 PPSI (Long Handle) - This is your first carder for preparing individual staples of fleece wool. The turned handle is comfortable to hold and use. The fine 72 point cloth has stainless steel wire and long-lasting rubber backing. The Silver Beech hard wood is durable and robust.
