A Return to Simpler Tools There was a time when if you needed a tool… you made one. Not because it was trendy, but because it was necessary. Because you trusted your hands more than a factory line. That’s the mindset behind these knives. Each one is handcrafted from locally sourced Wisconsin hardwood, shaped and finished one at a time. No shortcuts, no mass production — just a simple tool made the right way. Built From Experience I spent a lot of time using different bread knives, and one thing always bothered me — the handle never lined up with the blade. Most of them are offset just enough to put your wrist at an awkward angle while cutting. It works… but it never felt right. So I started making my own. These are built with a centered handle design, where the blade lines up directly with your grip. It keeps your wrist in a more natural position, gives you better control, and makes each cut feel smoother and more balanced. Nothing complicated — just fixing something that didn’t need to be that way in the first place. The Wood Each handle is carved from solid hardwood, sourced locally whenever possible. Available in: Ash Black Walnut Cherry Maple White Oak Every piece carries its own grain, tone, and character. No two knives will ever be identical. Over time, it just becomes part of your kitchen.
