Make your own ceramic objects out of stoneware clay – weekend class on Saturdays DETAILS We have two options:2×2 h Workshop from 12.00–14.00: 2 h handbuilding + 2 h glazing (2 weeks later)or 1×3 h Workshop from 11.00–14.00: 3 h handbuilding (you have 1 h more of handbuilding and instead of glazing two weeks later you can paint with engobe clay colours right away). The pieces are then finished and final glazed by us. STEPS In a small group we experiment with different shapes and techniques, from pinching, coiling to slab building. Free forms can be tried out here. Open to anyone, regardless of previous knowledge or skills, even though a little bit of clay experience can definitely be useful here. All materials, tools, firings are included. More infos → WorkshopsWorkshops are held in German and/or English. The pieces need to dry for 7–10 days, before they can go into the kiln to be fired for the first time. Then you can glaze your objects, followed by a glaze firing at 1240°C, a slow cool down, until you can finally hold them in your hands. Please cancel your class up to 30 days in advance by email to get a full refund. Pick up ca. 2-5 weeks after the glazing during our pick up times (Saturdays 13–16)
