Craft Introduction - Hand-dipping Glazing Dipping glaze is one of the ceramic glazing techniques, also known as "engobe glaze". It involves immersing the pottery into the glaze for a moment, allowing the glaze slurry to adhere to the surface of the pottery through its water-absorbing properties. The thickness of the glaze layer is controlled by the pottery's water-absorbing properties, glaze concentration, and immersion time.
