These caps are manufactured in-house from a shatt er-proof polyurethane and are virtually indestructible. These caps enable you to adjust the balance of your balisong by adding significant handle bias via removable tungsten weights. Features Removable Tungsten weights add significant handle bias and enable balance adjustment. Protect your handles from hard drops with these heavy handle caps. Shatter-proof. Internal ridges grip the jimping on your balisongs, so they don't slide off during drops. Abrasion resistant andvirtually indestructible. A set of two handle caps weighs 0.13 oz empty, or 0.26 oz fully weighted with the included Tungsten. Sold as either a pack of 2 caps, or 6 caps. Recommended Usage If your goal is solely to protect the handles of your balisong, I recommend using these caps without weights or the Zippy Slim Caps: since the weight caps were originally designed primarily to work with Zippys, and the cap material is flexible and rubbery, there is always the risk that a tungsten weight contacts and "dings" the ends of your handles on a direct drop (this has not been tested with 3rd party balisongs). Slim caps do not house removable Tungsten weights, and therefore offer the best handle protection (alongside weight caps with all the weights removed). Disclaimer Note that while the Zippy weight caps fit a variety of other balisongs, they were designed chiefly to work with Zippy's, and it's not clear how different handle shapes do/do not contact the tungsten weights during hard drops. Use with tungsten in at your own risk, as there is always the risk that tungsten hits the bottom of your handle on a drop, since the caps are a flexible rubbery material.
