For aluminum oxide sandblasting and handpiece grinding Heavy-gauge powder-coated steel; 11" W x 16" D x 9" H Hinged viewport with adjustable magnifier; bright LED light Cleanable reusable cartridge filter; bottom debris screen Rubber-gasketed hand holes keep dust contained; 115V/60Hz Quantity: 1 per Each Handler Manufacturing Etcher Catcher with Suction Unit, Model 52CSU is used for collecting, trapping, and containing aluminum oxide dust and particulate debris generated during sandblasting and microetching procedures in the dental laboratory environment, providing a self-contained heavy-gauge powder-coated steel cabinet with integrated suction that draws the aluminum oxide dust away from the work piece and the laboratory technician's breathing zone during sandblasting operations and captures it within the cleanable, reusable cartridge filter before the air exhausts from the unit, maintaining a cleaner and healthier laboratory work environment by preventing aluminum oxide particulate from becoming airborne and dispersing throughout the laboratory workspace. The 52CSU is also excellent for handpiece grinding tasks where the enclosed cabinet and suction system similarly contain the grinding debris and dust generated during dental material trimming and finishing work with a handpiece or handheld tool inside the cabinet, consolidating dust management for both sandblasting and grinding tasks into a single benchtop unit. The bottom screen within the cabinet allows larger particles and debris fragments to drop out of the air stream and collect on the cabinet floor below the filter, extending the cleanable cartridge filter's service interval by preventing oversized debris from prematurely loading the filter media during use. The hinged viewport with adjustable magnifier provides the visual access to the work piece inside the cabinet with magnification support for detailed etching and surface preparation work, while the bright LED light illuminates the cabinet interior for excellent visibility during the sandblasting or grinding procedure. Dental laboratory technicians, prosthodontists with in-office laboratory facilities, and dental ceramists who perform aluminum oxide sandblasting for surface preparation of ceramic, metal, and composite restorations and handpiece grinding in a laboratory environment find Handler Manufacturing Etcher Catcher Model 52CSU the powder-coated steel LED-lit hinged-viewport magnifier cartridge-filter rubber-gasketed 115V/60Hz 11-by-16-by-9-inch benchtop dust collection sandblasting unit for their active dental laboratory surface preparation program. ? The Handler Manufacturing Etcher Catcher Model 52CSU is sold as a complete self-contained benchtop unit at 11 inches wide by 16 inches deep by 9 inches high with an overall shipping weight of 17 pounds, providing the complete dust collection cabinet with suction, hinged viewport, magnifier, LED light, cartridge filter, bottom debris screen, and rubber-gasketed hand holes in a compact benchtop footprint suited for dental laboratory bench installation. The unit operates at 115V/60Hz for standard North American power supply and is also available in a 220V/50Hz format (Model 52CSU-E) for international voltage requirements, and as a dust collection cabinet with filter and 3-inch flange for attachment to an external suction source (Model 52CFI) for facilities with centralized laboratory suction systems. Handler's Paasche-style etching pencil (Model 52PAB) is compatible with the 52CSU and is available separately for use within the cabinet. ? Handler Manufacturing Etcher Catcher Model 52CSU works through its integrated suction motor and blower that draws air through the two rubber-gasketed hand openings in the cabinet front during the sandblasting or grinding procedure, creating a negative pressure airflow within the cabinet that pulls the aluminum oxide dust and grinding debris away from the work surface and into the cabinet's interior air stream where the dust is carried by the suction airflow to the cleanable reusable cartridge filter positioned within the cabinet. The rubber gaskets surrounding the two hand holes on the cabinet's front panel seal the gap between the technician's hands and wrists and the cabinet wall during operation, maintaining the negative pressure air containment within the cabinet and preventing dust from escaping around the hand entry points during the sandblasting or grinding procedure. ? Dental laboratory technicians who perform aluminum oxide microetching of ceramic and metal restoration surfaces before bonding agent application find the 52CSU provides the contained sandblasting environment needed for clean, controlled surface preparation without aluminum oxide particulate dispersing into the laboratory workspace.Prosthodontists with in-office laboratory setups who grind and trim restorations on the bench find the Etcher Catcher consolidates both sandblasting and handpiece grinding dust management into a single compact benchtop unit. ? Handler Manufacturing Etcher Catcher Model 52CSU gives dental laboratories a self-contained heavy-gauge powder-coated steel benchtop dust collection unit with suction for aluminum oxide sandblasting and handpiece grinding, featuring a hinged viewport with adjustable magnifier, bright LED light, cleanable reusable cartridge filter, bottom debris screen, rubber-gasketed hand holes, at 11" W x 16" D x 9" H, 115V/60Hz, 1 per each.
