Handmade, one sheet at a time Master papermaker Kelsey Pike literally wrote the book on making fine paper in small batches. From her studio in Kansas City, MO, she uses renewable m aterials to craft each sheet of paper from scratch. For this fine art paper, Pike uses Abacá fiber, a strong and fast-growing crop that uses resources efficiently, blended with cotton rag for softness. Each sheet is acid and chlorine-free. The pulp dyeing is done with natural pigments. Each sheet is internally sized and buffered against future acidity, so that it is archival. These gorgeous handmade sheets feature deckled edges on all four sides. As an art surface, this paper is ideal for drawing, mixed media, printmaking, and collage. It feels almost like a piece of fabric, giving your work a unique dimension. Each pack contains five sheets of 8" x 10" paper. If you order one of the color options, all five sheets will be the same color. If you order the assorted option, you'll get five random sheets.
