Encre de Noir/Black Walnut Ink is a dark brown, Iron Oak Ink is rich black, and Brazilwood Ink starts out as a bright red.*Brazilwood ink is sensitive to both pH and exposure to metal. To preserve the bright red color, we recommend using a glass or quill pen. Using a metal pen nib will turn the ink a dark purple-brown. Show more
