HANGING LOKI IN FRAME

A black resin Loki Godmask, sprayed in a deep textured red and mounted inside a shadow box, surrounded by pink and white florals. The contrast is deliberate and entirely considered : Loki rendered in the deep red of fire and blood, framed by soft florals that have no business being near him and are exactly right for that reason. This is not a conventional piece of Norse art. It is a conversation between the god of chaos and the quiet beauty that has no idea what it is standing next to. Loki is the most misunderstood figure in the Norse canon. Not simply a trickster and not simply a villain. He is the agent of change, the force that cannot be categorised, the one who sits at the edge of every story and tips it in a direction nobody planned for. The florals are not ironic. They are Loki's nature as much as the fire is: the unexpected softness alongside the undeniable force. Made by Isar Oakmund. One of a kind, not repeated, not restocked. Ready to hang.
