UltraCote Transparent RC Airplane Covering is a high‑tech polyester film designed to give RC aircraft a clear, transparent finish. It features a unique multi‑temperature adhesive shrinkage system and a patented polymerizing process that permanently fuses the pigment to the film, eliminating the possibility of color‑layer separation and allowing repositioning during application. Lightweight at about 0.30 oz per square foot, this covering is fuel‑proof to glow fuel, gas, and smoke oil, and is waterproof. It can shrink and stretch to smooth around tight curves and wingtips, making it ideal for precise, curved coverage on a wide range of RC airplanes. Adhesion to wood begins around 200–220°F, shrinkage onset around 300°F, and maximum shrinkage near 350°F.
