The Hapet Granat dahlia is a stunning and dramatic variety introduced by the prolific Austrian breeder Peter Haslhofer (originally in 2006, with formal registration around 2015). I t is highly prized for its exceptionally deep, velvety color and its role as a reliable producer of perfectly formed, petite blooms that add depth and contrast to any floral arrangement. Color: Dark Red (DR). An intense, saturated deep red that appears almost black in certain lights and maintains its vibrant, glowing quality even in full sun. Form: Miniature Ball (MB). Features a dense, spherical bloom shape with petals that spiral with machine-like precision. ADS Classification: 6107. Bloom Size: Miniature (M). Typically produces blooms ranging from 2 to 3.5 inches (5–9 cm) in diameter. Height: Tall. A vigorous plant that can reach between 5 to 6.5 feet (150–200 cm) tall, depending on growing conditions.
