Haquoss forest pine bark is a 100% natural and biodegradable product. It has remarkable absorbent capacity and high water retention power, making it suitable for all reptiles that love humidity as well as amphibians, lizards, crabs, frogs, snakes, and tarantulas that live in humid environments similar to those of tropical forests or jungles. This substrate is composed exclusively of heat-treated pine bark to prevent the presence of spores and parasites. It stimulates natural digging behavior, facilitates egg-laying, and absorbs odors. It can be used alone or mixed with Haquoss rainforest bedding to create the perfect substrate for any tropical reptile. APPLICATION: Cover the bottom of the terrarium with a 4/5 cm layer, spray with water, and regularly remove excrement and urine or dissolve them using Haquoss T5, organic waste remover. Clean the substrate every week, removing it from the terrarium and sifting it well. Every 2 months, place it in a bowl of warm water for at least 15 minutes, adding 5% Haquoss T4, reptiles bath lotion to disinfect it and eliminate parasites. Let it dry until only 10–15% humidity remains, then return it to the terrarium. Replace completely every 5–6 months. Show more
