Corriedale Romney North Island sheep dyed in the fleece and processed through the mill to a worsted weight (Aran) yarn lively stitch definition. Named after New Zealand flax (harakeke). Weight/ply: Heavy Worsted weight to chunky Fibre: Corriedale, Romney. Meterage: 160m (175 yd) / 100g Recommended needles: 4.5 to 6mm (7-10 US) Approximate gauge: Due to the nature of my small batch mill, yarn is not like fully commercial yarn and often looks more like a handspun with variations in thickness throughout the yarn. Each batch is measured on a McMorrin scale to give an approximate length per 100g. Please enjoy the non-commercial qualities of the yarn. Care Instructions: All of my yarn is non-superwash. Gentle wash with appropriate product such as Powerscour® Fibre wash. Do not wring. Towel dry and then lay flat until completely dry (in the shade). With pure wool only occasional washing is recommended.
