Hard Case is an A4 52-page surf/art magazine that brings together interviews with some of the most interesting shapers and artists in surfing. Surfing and art go hand in hand, and this mag is a space where both can exist naturally and unfiltered.It’s meant to be a breath of fresh air in an industry where print media has started to feel a bit stale. Hard Case celebrates the weird, the handmade, and the authentic side of surf culture. Issue 2 features interviews with; Creed Mctaggart, Throb Surfboards, Te Marunui Hotene, Simon Jones, Easty Beasty, Llyr Williams and Mojo Handshapes. Tying it all together is a photo essay by Ishka Folkwell featuring Torren Martyn, shot during the making of the film Lost Track New Zealand.
