AT DISTILLERY PICK UP ONLY Bayou Terrebonne Distillers is a marsh roots company founded on the belief that honest joy is distilled from from hard work and earned victories, big or small. Down Bayou Terrebonne, in the deepest part of the sugar bowl, sits Hard Scrabble Farm. Established in 1880, it raised cane when sugar was king and the going was tough. The family took no wages for their labor and lived frugally. When asked how he chose his farm’s namesake, the founder simply replied that he came about it the hard way. Show more
