This is a #8 insert nut for wood. It is designed to mate with #8-32 screws. The purpose of the insert nut is to provide a more structurally sound fastener for wood material. The in sert nut will provide a much better hold than a general wood screw. For use with #8-32 screw size Dimensions: 10 mm (3/8") long. Instructions: Drill 7/32” hole and install with a 4mm hex key.
