"Overpass," the third LP from Scott Hardware, is an avant-pop ode to the loaner—the late-night, headphones-on wanderer. The lyrics were slowly carved out over countless dusk-to-nig ht walks through North Lisbon, soundtracked by musicals. As planes, trains, and highways wove their own visual symphony, they echoed the sweeping drama in my ears.
