Hareline Crosscut Rabbit Strips are premium fly-tying materials cut across the grain so the fur naturally lays back when wrapped on a hook shank, producing immediate pulsing action. Ideal for streamers, zonkers and Bunny Leeches, each pack contains four crosscut strips approximately 10" long to create lifelike bodies and tails for freshwater and saltwater patterns. Key Features Crosscut Construction: Hair is cut perpendicular to the hide so fibers flare and lay rearward when wrapped, creating a streamlined, pulsing profile. Four 10" Strips: Each pack includes 4 strips of approximately 10" length — convenient for multiple flies or patterns. High-Quality Rabbit Fur: Sourced from fine rabbit hides for natural movement and durable tying. Versatile Use: Perfect for streamers, leeches, zonkers and baitfish patterns in both saltwater and freshwater environments. Easy to Tie: Consistent strips are simple to wrap, trim and combine with dubbing, flash or epoxy eyes. Fly tiers rely on Hareline Crosscut Rabbit Strips for the natural motion and profile they add to large streamers and predator flies. Hareline's crosscut preparation reduces trimming while maximizing lifelike pulse and silhouette — essential when targeting bass, trout, bonito, false albacore and other aggressive species. These strips pair well with Hareline dubbing, zonker backings and epoxy eyes to build realistic baitfish imitations and durable streamer bodies.
