Flavour Our harissa blend combines the savoury, warming notes of cumin & coriander with some chilli heat and characteristic subtle anise flavour from caraway. Harissa is the Middle East's answer to an all purpose blend. Processing Our spice blends are handmade in small batches for added freshness at our processing unit in Bristol. We use minimal salt & sugar where possible and never use additives, fillers or anti-caking agents. Our spice blends are also organic certified & are made using the same spices that we source from our partner farmers. Usage Harissa can be used across a variety of dishes and works well adding to roasted vegetables or oven chips as well as stirring through soups & tomato based sauces. In order to get the best out of our spices, we've included a QR code on the side of the glass jar label. This links back to our website with more cooking tips & recipe ideas. Packaging All of our spices are available to buy in both glass jars and refill pouches. Packaging is either recyclable or compostable. The refill pouches are the exact same quantity as the jars so you only have to buy the jar once, or not at all if you already have your own. Design The main benefit of buying our glass jars are the QR codes & artwork on the labels which is curated and designed by local Bristol artist & illustrator Hannah Grace. Our jars have 4 different designs, each representing a landscape from where our spices are sourced.
