Harmony By Boyz II Men Bordeaux is a 750ml organic red Bordeaux blend produced at Château Auguste in the Right Bank's Entre-Deux-Mers appellation. What sets this wine apart is its use of Genodics — a viticultural practice in which music is played to the vines twice daily to strengthen their natural immunity, resulting in an additive-free wine grown without pesticides.Quick Facts: ABV: Varies by vintage | Origin: Entre-Deux-Mers, Bordeaux, France | Classification: Bordeaux Supérieur | Estate: Château Auguste | Winemaker: Damien LandouarProduction & HeritageChâteau Auguste sits on a 74-acre Bordeaux Supérieur estate in the Right Bank, where winemaker Damien Landouar oversees production using 100% organically grown grapes. The red blend draws from three classic Bordeaux varieties — Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc — unified under a philosophy that merges viticulture with sound science. The estate's signature practice, Genodics, exposes vines to music twice a day, a technique rooted in research suggesting that specific sound frequencies can bolster plant health and reduce the need for chemical intervention. This collaboration between Landouar and the members of Boyz II Men reflects a shared passion for music that extends well beyond the recording studio and into the vineyard itself.Tasting NotesAroma: The nose opens with ripe dark fruit — plum and blackberry are prominent — followed by subtle earthy undertones and a hint of dried herbs characteristic of Right Bank Bordeaux blends. A gentle floral lift adds complexity as the wine opens up.Taste: On the palate, the Merlot-driven core delivers soft, rounded red and dark fruit flavors at entry, with Cabernet Sauvignon adding structure through the mid-palate. Cabernet Franc contributes a peppery, slightly herbaceous layer that emerges toward the peak. Tannins are moderate and well-integrated, reflecting the organic farming approach.Finish: The finish is medium in length with lingering notes of dark cherry and a trace of minerality. A clean, dry close leaves the palate refreshed rather than heavy. How to Drink Harmony BordeauxThis blend shows well at a slight cellar temperature, around 60–65°F, and benefits from 15–20 minutes of breathing time after opening. Pouring into a wide-bowled glass helps the aromatic layers develop. For cocktail-curious drinkers: try it in a Bordeaux Sangria with stone fruit and fresh herbs for a seasonal twist; a French 75 variation substituting this red for the traditional base to create a deeper, fruit-forward aperitif; or a simple red wine spritzer with sparkling water and a citrus peel, which lets the organic fruit character shine without overwhelming it.Best For Music lovers seeking a wine with a genuine connection to artistry and sound Gifting to fans of Boyz II Men or collectors of celebrity-collaboration wines Hosting a dinner party centered around organic and sustainably produced wines Exploring approachable Right Bank Bordeaux blends without a steep learning curve Frequently Asked QuestionsWhat does Harmony Bordeaux taste like?
