When measuring the neck: Be sure to measure around the widest part of your dogs neck - at the base where the harness will sit, not where a collar sits! If your pup falls between sizes or they are still growing or filling out, we recommend sizing up! *Heads up! Our harnesses have updated! The new versions will have openings where the strap meets the chest and back panels to tuck in the excess strap tails. If it doesn't reach, just move the tri-glide slider towards the end of the loose strap to hold it down. Recommended Fit To put the harness on, simply slip the harness over the dog's head, and clip the two side release buckles at the chest - all 4 paws stay on the ground! Both the neck and shoulder straps are fully adjustable. We designed our harness to fit a bit shorter for maximum breathability.
