This is Rene Harrop's go-to mayfly emerger. It's a long, slender mayfly emerger with sparse materials and a synthetic tail to represent a shucking mayfly. If you have ever watched shucking mayflies in the water, they are very long and slender, much longer than most commercial patterns represent.
