Pieces that share the same diameter can be stacked, stored and transported easily. Hasami porcelains are made in Hasami, an area in Nagasaki prefecture of Japan. Nagasaki prefecture has a 400 year history for making porcelain dating back to the Edo Period. The unique combination of porcelain and clay makes each piece extra durable and strong for everyday use.
