For 400 years, Hasami has been a town of pottery. Based on traditional techniques passed down from generation to generation, Hasami Porcelain was born under the direction of Takuhiro Shinomoto. Inspired by traditional stacked boxes, these modular mugs are easily stacked for efficient storage. Throughout the production process, the pieces are passed through the hands of various craftsmen, and finally stamped by hand to give them the distinctive appearance that is characteristic of Hasami Porcelain.
