The hashtag symbol has been around for a long time. It's also known as the pound sign and the number sign and it was found on the traditional telephone keypad. And this symbol is all the rage right now, but for a completely different reason. It represents major movements on Twitter and other social media sites. It helps people find important information on these social media outlets and it makes you stand out when you post something. And now we bring the hashtag to you in our simple but fabulous Hashtag stencil. If you are supporting a movement, you can create great signs and posters with the Hashtag stencil and one of our letter stencils, such as the Cera Letter stencil. You can get creative with handmade birthday party invitations, saying something like “#youareinvited.” You can also make great hashtag street art. You can paint this design on virtually any surface, such as walls, glass, concrete, wood, paper, metal, plastic, canvas, and fabric. You just need the right paint for the medium. You can even stencil it onto a cake with icing because the mylar stencil is 100% food-grade. We laser-cut all our stencils in-house, ensuring the precision of every single stencil we make. This also allows us to make the stencils in a range of sizes. The Hashtag stencil comes in the following sizes: 5” x 6” 8.5” x 11” 18” x 12” 24” x 18” 36” x 24” 48” x 32” 55” x 35” The only thing you really need to decide right now is what color you'll use to paint the Hashtag symbol. Once you've figured this out, simply secure the stencil flat to the surface and let your imagination run wild. Who knows what you'll create. Then when you're finished, simply wash the stencil and store it away for future use.
