Perfect for fresh eating and culinary use, haskap berries are notoriously high in antioxidants and vitamin C. Haskap berries are one of the earliest fruiting berries, generally ripening in late May, several weeks before strawberries. Borealis forms a compact bush, reaching 4 to 5 feet tall with a spread of 3 to 4 feet. Prune in late winter removing dead, damaged, or overcrowded branches to improve airflow and encourage new growth.
