Haskap is the berry of the blue honeysuckle plant, Lonicera caerulea. We offer both a compote and this syrup made from one of the few non-native foods we carry. While there are man y North American honeysuckle varieties, very few are edible and edible varieties are considered at risk or endangered. The north Asian variety, however, thrives here. Taste its grape-blueberry-raspberry flavour and we think you'll agree we're right to carry it. Try Haskap syrup drizzled on a wheel of brie and baked, or pour some over your yogurt and muesli. You can also use in it place of grenadine syrup in a cocktail, especially those with rum. Haskap syrup makes a Hurricane taste even better. Show more
