The official Hattery hat stretcher is the best way to get your favourite hat back to its original size. Available in two size brackets. For the first session, we like to steam up o ur hats a little, it helps to soften the felt and make it more pliable. We then place the stretcher inside the crown and adjust the internal thread to expand the hat. The hat can then be left for a few hours before trying on. After wearing your hat it's a good idea to place the stretcher back into the crown to prevent any shrinkage and maintain the crown's shape. A good way to store your hat when not in use!
