The Hatch Nomad 2.0 Pliers bring a rugged, no-nonsense build to the plier lineup, with I-Beam arms milled from 6061-T6 aluminum and finished with a Type II anodize and misted texture designed to stay grippy even in wet hands. This redesign moves the tungsten carbide cutter into a side-cutting position and adds gripping grooves at the jaw tips for grabbing knot tag ends, aimed at making everyday line work faster and more precise. Hatch built in a designed gap at the jaws -- typically .015" -- for clean, consistent cuts, and every pair ships with a custom Hatch bungee lanyard and a black sheath sized for a 1.25"-1.5" belt, so it's ready to fish the day it arrives. Like every Hatch product, it's made in small batches in Southern California, USA. Paired with gripping grooves machined into the jaw tips for grabbing knot tag ends, the redesign is aimed at making everyday line and tag-end trimming faster and more precise. What's included with the Nomad 2.0?Every pair ships with a custom Hatch bungee lanyard and a black sheath with a belt loop sized to fit a 1.25"-1.5" belt, so it's ready to wear or clip on the day it arrives. How do I care for it?Rinse with fresh water after saltwater use, especially around the hinge, and let it dry before storing in the included sheath. The anodized aluminum construction holds up well with regular rinsing, and the misted texture finish is designed to stay grippy even with wet hands.
